Contact
Corrections, bug reports and suggestions all land in the same inbox and are read by the person who runs the site. Most replies go out within a few days.
Before you write
- Wrong data on a country page. Send the country, the figure that is wrong and, if you have one, a source. Population and economic figures are estimates and different bodies publish different numbers, so a source makes the fix quick.
- Something is broken. Tell us the page, your browser and what you expected to happen. A screenshot helps.
- The generator keeps giving me the same country. Check whether a region filter is still set from a previous visit — settings are remembered in your browser.
How long a reply takes
This is a one-person site, so there is no support desk and no ticket number. Corrections to country data are usually dealt with first and fixed within a few days. General questions get an answer when there is time, normally inside a week. If you have sent something and heard nothing after two weeks, it is worth sending again — occasionally a message is lost to a spam filter in one direction or the other.
Reporting an error on a country page
Every country page has an error-report link at the bottom, which is the quickest route for a single wrong figure because it tells us which page you were on. Use the form above instead when the problem spans several pages, when you want a reply, or when you are attaching a source.
What we do not do
We do not sell links, publish guest posts or add outbound links in exchange for anything. Messages offering those get no reply. We also cannot give travel, visa or immigration advice — the country pages are geography, not guidance, and entry rules change far faster than any page here.
